One of the many remarkable traits of the Black & White Collection by Smartstuff™ is the fact that it includes not 3, not 4, but 5 different bed styles! When you add in the fact that all but one of those styles is available in both Twin and Full sizes, as well as two colors, we’re talking newsworthy amounts of options here! Take a look at what the headlines are all about!
Black & White Collection Reading Bed
The Reading Bed in Black or White offers a rounded headboard, complete with posts that mirror the bun feet. The footboard has a rectangular shape, and both the footboard and headboard share the same dimensional horizontal lines, which would pair nicely with the slatted doors of the Classic Wardrobe. The headboard also includes a built-in reading light, perfect for late night adventures or early morning inspirational reading. Available in your choice of Twin or Full size bed or Headboard only, this bed can also accommodate either Under-bed Storage option found in the Black & White Collection. The Twin bed measures 43 inches wide and 56 inches high, and the Full bed measures 59 inches wide and 57 inches high; both beds are 81 inches long.
All-American Bunk Bed
Available in either Black or White, the All-American Bunk Bed provides a safe way to compactly sleep two people in the space of one! Each bed includes bun feet, providing an elegantly framed window between the two beds when stacked. Beds can be attached with metal pins or separated into two stand-alone beds. The Top bed includes a removable tray that functions as a “nightstand in the sky,” with enough room to store an alarm clock, book, and more! Smartstuff™ realizes the importance of safety, so steps of the ladder are grooved for enhanced traction.
Options include Twin-over-Twin, Full-over-Full, and Twin-Over-Full sizes. The Twin-only set measures 45 inches wide by 85 inches deep and 75 inches high; sets including a Full bed require an additional 15 inches of width. Any size Bunk Bed can accommodate either under-bed storage option that comes with the Black & White Collection.
American Classic Metal Bed
Of course, all the beds that we’ve perused thus far in the Black & White Collection have come in your choice of Black or White painted finish. But if you saw our little teaser in Part 2, you know that one of the bed styles in the collection has an altogether different finish. Well, this is it! The American Classic Metal Bed offsets the painted pieces in this line to highlight the oiled bronze hardware used throughout. With vintage spindle design, this bed hints at yesteryear while providing an updated option.
Available in Twin or Full size, this bed (watch a YouTube video) is the only one in the collection that cannot accommodate under-bed storage pieces. The Twin bed measures 45 inches wide by 81 inches long and 52 inches high, and the Full bed measures 58 inches wide by 81 inches long and 51 inches high.
