Designed with a dorm room flavor (minus the dirty laundry), The Bedroom Source is proud to introduce our Catalina collection, which consists of both light & dark variations. This fashionable, smart furniture is great for girls or boys and strikes a balance between the trendy and the timeless — like any good liberal arts education. Teens and tweens will be drawn in by this collection’s uniquely streamlined appearance, and then they’ll be absolutely stunned by some of the smart features included in some of its components. The elm veneers of our Catalina Collection (Light) showcase a Gray stain and incorporate Parchment framing, providing crisp, fresh no-nonsense lines.
Catalina Beds
The Catalina Collection (Light) includes 3 basic bed styles. The first is the Catalina Panel Bed (Light) which comes in either Twin or Full sizes, both of which include side rails with a Parchment finish that matches the border around the Elm woodgrain panels on the headboard and footboard. The Catalina Reading Bed (Light) also comes in either Twin or Full sizes and is unique in its exclusive use of Gray Elm Veneers. The horizontal boards of the headboard give way to a built-in LED flex reading light.
The third bed in the collection is the Catalina Loft Bunk Bed (Light), consisting of a Twin bottom bed and Full top bunk as well as a ladder. Unlike other components of the Catalina Collection, this bed is made completely from metal. The lower bed can be used as a stand-alone piece, and the larger unit includes a built-in work space with no drawers. (You can purchase a Catalina desk chair separately.)
Catalina Large Storage Pieces
Continuing the Gray and Parchment motif, Catalina Collection (Light) storage pieces include metal drawer pulls that enhance the modern appeal of this collection.
The first piece you’ll want to consider is the Catalina Drawer Dresser (Light). Its Gray drawers stand out from the Parchment box, which is supported by a metal base that matches the drawer pulls. One drawer includes a flip-down front, ideal for electronics. Another contains a removable felt tray with a hidden compartment. Large bottom drawers include removable separators. This storage piece measures 54 inches wide by 18 inches deep and 34 inches high.
The second large storage piece is the Catalina Drawer Chest (Light). Measuring 36 inches wide by 18 inches deep and 50 inches high, it also includes large bottom drawers with dividers, one top drawer with a flip-down front and another with a felt tray. The back panel also slides out to reveal jewelry hooks.
A third piece, the Catalina Dressing Chest (Light), is a cross between the previous two; the Catalina Dressing Chest measures 48 inches wide by 18 inches deep and 44 inches high. Each of its 6 drawers include removable dividers, and its top shelf can be turned to reveal a built-in power outlet.
