If you're looking for that upcycled look without all the hassle of DIY, the Skyline Collection is the perfect answer. The casual appeal of the medium brown Weathered Oak finish combines with the simple but solid design. The natural grain of the Oak Veneers comes through, thanks to the scrubbed and rubbed surface; Poplar Solids are also used throughout this lifestyle collection. Some pieces incorporate Natural Stonewash Canvas with attention-getting lacing, and the effect of the mixed materials is at once trendy and comfortable. Skyline Panel Bed
The horizontal lines of this bed make it blend well with the rest of the set, while its impressively sized headboard gets it the attention it deserves. Available in Twin, Full, or Queen, the 52-inch high headboard definitely sets the understated tone for any bedroom. The footboard mirrors the same casually framed horizontal plank design. The Full and Twin beds are 80 inches deep, while the Queen is 87. The Queen is 63 inches wide, the Full is 56, and the Twin is 41. Any size can accommodate Skyline under-bed storage units.
Skyline Bunk Beds
Whether you choose the Twin-over-Full or Twin-over-Twin size, you're in for a real surprise if you're thinking of a typical bunk bed that interrupts any design motif you're attempting to incorporate. The Weathered Oak panels are so prominent that simply the presence of a Skyline Bunk Bed will introduce a relaxed, unpretentious aura into the room. The simple ladder adds to the overall rustic appeal as well.
The Twin-over-Full bunk bed measures 58 inches wide by 80 inches long and 71 inches high; the Twin-over-Twin version measures 43 inches wide. (The ladder can be added to either end but requires an additional 10 inches of width.) Either size allows for your choice of low or high rail positions and can be paired with the Skyline Trundle or Underbed Storage unit. The twin bunk bed can be separated into 2 separate beds. Maximum mattress height is 9 inches for the top bunk, but any bunk bed mattress available through the Bedroom Source will fit just fine.
