Our Basic Bed is the starting point for Maxtrix. It might be the first bed for young children once a crib is no longer required. It has the same safety features as a standard toddler or youth bed, such as being low to the ground and having Guard Rails (or Front and Back Safety Rails). Our rails are higher than conventional bed rails, and the entire bed - including the slats - is made of robust solid hard wood, unlike the typical youth bed. The 14 slats are each spaced 2.75 inches apart and have been tested to hold up to 800 pounds (more than twice what is required per US safety regulations). Our Basic Bed has all the markings of a quality furniture piece that can survive the test of time - including your child's numerous growth spurts and developmental stages - in addition to ensuring safety for your young child.
Your Child's Development
Your options are practically unlimited once you have the Basic Bed in place! The Basic Bed may be elevated to a Low, Mid, or High Loft with our Leg Extensions with Rock-Lock Connections. You can also combine several to create your own Bunk Bed layout, with up to six beds merged into a single framework. Many creative and safety-rated choices may make your children's Bunk Bed a sleepover-friendly, space-efficient place, ranging from full Trundle Beds to Staircase and Angle Ladders with Handrails.
Adapting to the Needs of Your Child
The Maxtrix System can morph and adapt in a variety of ways, depending on your child's or children's requirements. Other furniture and accessories, as well as a multitasking set that doubles as a play zone, can provide ample storage. Top Tents, Slides, Towers, and Under-Bed Curtains are all available to turn your child's bed into a fort, castle, playground, or picnic site. As your youngster grows older, imaginative play may be replaced by endless hours studying textbooks, and you'll need to elevate the loft to create room for a matching Desk and Chair. All of our storage furniture, from Storage Chests to Book Cases and Dressers, may stand alone or fit neatly beneath a Loft Bed.
