With Traditional styling combined with a relaxed, distressed finish and nautical details, the Harbor House Collection will be a favorite for adventurers of all ages! Whether you live near a lake or coastline or well inland, your child can set sail with his or her imagination with help from rope accents, boat cleat hardware, and other seaworthy suggestions. In addition to the three bed styles we looked at in Part 1, this delightful collection includes three bed accessory pieces as well as homework station pieces and an assortment of drawer storage pieces that easily stand alone. We'll take a closer look at those pieces in this post and the next.
Harbor House Collection Bed Accessory Pieces
Each of the bed accessory pieces comes in the Pebble White finish and can be paired with any of the bed styles in the Harbor House Collection. Both under-bed storage pieces are built using the same hardwoods and Rustic Birch veneers used in other Harbor House pieces and designed to be positioned beneath the Twin and Full-sized beds in the collection. Either one could also be paired with the Queen-sized Poster Bed, but it would leave a small gap between where it ends and either the foot or head of the bed.
Harbor House Collection Underbed Storage Unit
The first of two under-bed storage pieces, the Harbor House Underbed Storage Unit offers plenty of open and closed storage potential. A single Storage Unit includes twin drawers along with an open cubby on one side. The drawers have the same top-quality construction used throughout other pieces in the collection, including side-mounted extension guides complete with ball bearings and English dovetail joinery to attach drawer fronts. Each of the drawers has a framed front along with a boat cleat drawer pull, lending seaworthy style to the front. Two Storage Units can be used beneath a single bed (one on either side).
Harbor House Collection Trundle Storage Drawer
A second under-bed option is the Harbor House Trundle Storage Drawer. Again built using the same combination of hardwoods and veneers, this single drawer offers a framed panel design on the front for the appearance of two drawers, uninterrupted with any drawer pull hardware. Able to accommodate your choice of a mattress or anything else you'd like to store beneath your child's bed, this piece includes removable dividers that match the fully finished interior. True to its name, this drawer is a trundle-style one with casters that roll along the floor - but otherwise, it is quite similar to other Harbor House drawer storage pieces.
