There’s no doubt about it: The bed is the most important piece of your child’s bedroom. And while the specialty Staircase Beds — complete with hand rails — certainly set the Valley Collection apart from many others, each of the four impressive Basic Bed styles has its own unique perks, ranging from innovative storage to stylishly curved headboards. No bedroom is complete with just a bed, though, so you’ll want to take a look at these storage and study pieces.
Valley Collection Storage Pieces with Drawers
Each storage piece within the Valley Collection includes the same construction from solid poplar paired with birch veneers, in your choice of four finishes: White, Pecan, Espresso, or Cherry. All drawers throughout the Valley Collection are crafted of solid wood, with 4-corner English dovetail joinery and use dual under-mounted drawer guides with ball bearings, for smooth opening and closing. Each case includes dust proofing, and case good backs are inset and screwed in place to provide additional strength. For your child’s safety, each piece includes an anti-tip kit.
The four Valley storage pieces that include drawers all measure 17 inches deep. First is the 3-Drawer Chest, which can be used with a Vertical Mirror, and it measures 37 inches wide by 32 inches high. (Mirror is sold separately.) A larger piece, the 5-Drawer Chest measures 36 inches wide by 47 inches high. Wider but shorter, the 6-Drawer Dresser measures 59 inches wide by 33 inches high and can be paired with the Vertical Mirror, which measures 31 inches wide and adds 39 inches to the height. Finally, the Valley Nightstand, is 22 inches wide and 25 inches high and includes a single drawer over an open space which can fit an optional basket accessory that coordinates with the Valley Collection.
Valley Collection Study Pieces
Any of the three bookcase sizes can provide the perfect complement to any of the Valley beds. Feel free to think beyond the books, though! You can see the Horizontal Bookcase pictured here with six baskets which you can purchase separately. It measures 46 inches wide by 14 inches deep and 32 inches high and comes with four adjustable shelves. The Small Bookcase has the same width and height as the larger Horizontal Bookcase but is 10 inches smaller in width. It has two fixed shelves and a single adjustable shelf. The Tall Bookcase measures the same width and depth as the Small Bookcase but is 60 inches high and includes one fixed shelf and three adjustable shelf.
If you don’t already have the Valley Stair Loft with Desk, you’ll want to be sure to check out the Valley Desk and Hutch. Both pieces measures 48 inches wide, and the desk is 22 inches deep and 30 inches high. The Hutch adds 35 inches to its height but is only 11 inches deep. The desk includes a fold-down pencil drawer, and the Hutch has a single fixed shelf and a cord management mouse hole for convenience.
