The Space Organizer children’s furniture from The Bedroom Source includes several variations of a study loft, which is a bed that’s raised to allow for a desk underneath. (Often, study lofts include or offer extra room for added storage furniture pieces as well.) For those with bedrooms that simply don’t have enough space for both a bed and a desk, study lofts offer the perfect compact solution. Each loft bed in the Space Organizer collection can be constructed to coordinate with other furniture pieces in that line, with your choice of White, Pewter, Brandy, Chestnut, or Nutmeg finish, along with 15 different accent colors and 18 knob style choices. Any of them can be paired with a Bedroom Source low-profile mattress which can be delivered with your bedroom set at no additional charge.
Twin Space Saver Study Loft
This Study Loft incorporates several pieces into the design, including a Twin top bed; 2 Narrow 5-Drawer Chests (similar to the narrow 3-Drawer Chest), and a 4-Drawer Desk (without the Hutch). The desk can be positioned either completely beneath the bed or can be positioned to be flush to the outside of the top bed. As an added bonus, Book Shelves are incorporated into the design, behind each of the two 5-Drawer Chests. The 4-Drawer Staircase allows for extra storage, too. The entire piece measures 96 inches wide by 67 inches high and 42 inches deep; the side on which you choose to place the Staircase measures 51 inches deep, instead.
Hideaway Loft
Perhaps one of the favorite beds in our Space Organizer line, the Hideaway Loft incorporates an L-shaped under-the-bed Hideout, which can be also used as a closet, thanks to two bars for hanging storage. Other pieces included are a 4-Drawer Desk with Shelf, a 4-Drawer Storage Chest, and 4-Drawer Staircase, as well as a built-in Bookcase. (In case you’re counting, that’s a total of 12 drawers!) The Staircase can be set up on either side of the loft bed, and the Chest would then be set up on the opposite side from the stairs; the chest includes 3 extra-deep drawers. The entire setup measures 96 inches wide by 52 inches deep and 71 inches high.
Ultra High Study Loft
Coming in either Twin or Full sizes, the Ultra High Study Loft offers even more storage than those already listed. The top bed can be either size, and the extra height allows for a Storage Staircase with 5, instead of 4, drawers. The 3-Drawer Chest and Desk have a cork board and shelving above them, offering a hutch-like scenario. The piece measures 96 inches wide by 74-1/2 inches high and 61 inches deep, on the side with the Staircase. The side without stairs measures 42 inches deep for the Twin bed or 57 inches deep with the Full bed.
