Captain’s Bed with Pull-Out Desk
While technically considered a “Captain’s Bed,” this Space Organizer favorite comes in either Twin or Full size. The Twin version measures 96 inches wide by 45 inches high and 42 inches deep, and the Full version measures the same except it is 58 inches deep. (When the Desk is pulled out, it adds 24 inches to the depth.) The Pull-Out Desk comes on wheels for easy moving and includes a Pencil Drawer and open shelving. The 3-Drawer Dresser includes a Door Cabinet. You can choose from high or low platform sides, with or without a Staircase, depending on your child’s age and style preference.
Convertible Loft
If the Hideaway Loft we looked at in Part 1 isn’t the most innovative study loft in our Space Organizer line, this one certainly is! The Convertible Loft allows you to use the space under the top bed for double-duty, as a Desk by day and a second Bed by night! A free-standing unit, it does not require anchoring to floors or walls, so in case you’re renting your home or if you like to rearrange furniture frequently, you have nothing to worry about!
The conversion from Desk to Bed and back takes only seconds. Levelers and automatic locking mechanisms ensure safety, and a built-in surge protector provides convenient access for electronics. Storage options include a built-in staircase with 5 deep drawers and 3 cubbies. When the 75” Desk is converted into a lower Bed, it reveals an 80” long hanging bookshelf. The top bed is an extra-long Twin bed, while the bottom one is a standard-sized Twin bed. The entire Convertible Loft unit measures 102 inches long by 59 inches deep and 72 inches high.
Ultra-High Triple Twin Loft with Stairs
While we’re particularly focusing on single-bed units as we consider Loft Beds, this Triple Twin Loft is worth mentioning. It measures 96 inches wide by 42 inches deep and 74-1/2 inches high, but the part with stairs measures 61 inches deep, and the bottom bed extends to 80 inches deep. The piece includes the signature 5-Drawer Staircase, which can be set up on either side, as well as an open-shelf bookcase situated at the foot of one of the beds (either the bottom or middle, depending on whether you select a 2 or 3-Bed unit. You can choose from either a third Bed or a Desk.
