While most chairs we carry are described as "Desk Chairs," they can be purchased with or without a desk. Even if you don't plan for your child to study in his or her bedroom, it's always helpful to have some added seating available besides the bed.
Girls' Bedroom Collection Chairs
The Ivy Collection Chair takes a simple design and infuses it with vintage charm. Set against the backdrop of an Antique Linen White painted finish, the mixing of materials and colors adds a special dimension to this otherwise understated piece. The same Tea-Stained Linen Fabric with which the seat of the Ivy Collection Chair is upholstered can also be found on the French memo board included as part of the Ivy Desk Hutch.
With its round shape, the low, curved back, and the upholstered seat with nail head accents, the Genevieve Swivel Chair provides a great place for your little girl to sit pretty. The fabric remains neutral while definitely contrasting with the French White painted finish. Similar styling can be seen on the headboard of the Genevieve Upholstered Bed.
The Catalina Light Collection includes a Swivel Chair that incorporates the same airy, modern design seen throughout that collection. The Parchment painted finish contrasts against a removable seat pad. You can lift the seat of the chair to reveal extra storage space; the chair rests on rolling casters for ease of movement.
Boys' Bedroom Collection Chairs
Almost identical to the Catalina Light Collection for Girls, the Catalina Dark Collection for Boys includes a modern-looking Swivel Desk Chair. This chair swivels and rolls and can be height-adjusted as well.
The Skyline Desk Chair offers upholstery that blends well with the Collection of which it's a part. The legs display the same Weathered Oak finish seen throughout the Skyline Collection, along with Desert-toned Stonewashed canvas fabric that's also seen on the Skyline Collection Upholstered Day Bed and Headboard. Also like the Skyline Collection Headboard, the Chair features attention-getting accent lacing.
Benches and Ottomans
Providing a rare but stunning seating option, the Genevieve Ottoman is upholstered in the same fabric as the chair mentioned above, also in the Genevieve Collection. Though slightly more ornate, thanks to its rosettes and tufted design, this piece would look great at the foot of a bed or positioned elsewhere in the room.
With similar dimensions but a completely different look, the Seaview Dressing Bench offers a sturdy sitting space that's positioned atop an open cubby and a single drawer. In the same casual-looking finish (in your choice of Driftwood or Espresso) as the remainder of the Seaview Collection, this piece could be positioned at the foot of any Seaview bed or along a wall.
